POP Collector's International Competition
世界的シャンパンメーカーであるフランス、ポメリー社が、若手アーティストの発掘・育成を目指して設立した国際コンペティション「POP Collector's International Competition」にて、大川貴裕がデザインしたアートボトルが日本人として初の最優秀作品を受賞しました。
最優秀作品に選ばれた、大川がデザインするゼブラ、ジャガーなどサバンナに住む動物をあしらった6本のボトルが、「POPコレクターズ サファリ・シリーズ」として、全世界で限定発売されます。
Okawa won the highest award by POP collector's international competition at France in 2005. POP is a champagne made by POMMERY that is one of the worldwide champagne manufacture. The poricy of POMMERY is a spirit avant-garde and the tradition. And they have this competition to express the spirit and to promote a promising young artist every year.
In 2005, the "Safari" designed by Okawa was chosen to be the highest award.
These limited editions will be sold in the world in the autumn/winter of 2006.
